What is StatsGlitch.com?
Statsglitch.com is a service that allows you to track your Google Analytics data and notifies you of any changes (sends alerts).
Who's behind StatsGlitch?
Is it related to Google by any means?
No, it is not related to Google. It is an entirely separate service.
What data is collected from Google Analytics?
We only collect data that is chosen by you when creating an alert or report. For example, page views, sessions, or goal completions - it is up to you.
Why do I need to connect my Google Analytics account?
It is the easiest and safest way to get read-only Google Analytics data from the sites you can access. We never see your password and gain any other information. You can unlink the Google Analytics account at any time, and all the permissions will be revoked. We do not store your actual traffic numbers on our servers.
Do you store my Google Analytics data anywhere?
No, we never store your Analytics data (actual traffic numbers) on the server — each time it is fetched from Google servers via read-only access.
Are you compatible with GDPR?
Yes. We do not store any unnecessary personal information. You can unsubscribe from our services and delete the account at any time. You can export all the information we have about you.
Can you modify my Google Analytics data?
No, the link to Google Analytics is read-only, and we never change anything on your behalf.
Do I need a credit card?
To start the free-trial, you don't need a credit card. During the free-trial time, you can enter your credit card details to keep using your chosen plan.
What will happen after the free-trial?
If you choose not to subscribe to the paid plan, we will automatically downgrade your plan to the free-tier, and we will pause all your alert agents. You can upgrade your plan at any time and can continue using StatsGlitch from where you left it.
How can I create an alert?
Be sure to log in and associate your Google account with your profile. Then go to the "Alerts" section and click "Create new Alert."
When should I receive alerts?
You should receive an alert at the beginning of the day in your Google Account timezone or the one you've specified. Also, when the system notices that the data from yesterday is there - it will check whenever it should send an alert (that doesn't count for real-time alerts, of course).
What to do if no alerts were received?
Be sure that you've selected the right metrics in the alert configuration and have at least seven days of history. Also, if there is no significant difference - we will not send unwanted emails to you. These rules are to ensure that if you've received an alert, it is worth checking it.
